Gift poster for the subscribed readers of Barcelonés Magazine.
It was conceived as a digital print promotional present for all the subscribers and collaborators on the 5th anniversary of the magazine.
The idea was to get out of the cliche image of Barcelona as a perfect, colorful city so often sold to tourists and show a more gritty and dull al realistic side of it.
In a minimalist style, the letters of the Barcelonés head, designed by Andreu Balius, are combined as blocks with the characteristic octogonal shapes of the buildings of l’Eixample district, the mountains on the top side and the sea at the bottom.
